Sasquatch Watch of Virginia Membership
Thank you for your interest in joining Sasquatch Watch of Virginia (SWVA). Please take a moment and fill out the membership application. Within a week, someone from the SWVA Board of Directors will be in contact with you to discuss your application. Please be as detailed as possible. Membership allows you to join any expeditions, outings, or any functions SWVA holds. You will also be given access to the members only facebook group, and updated on the latest SWVA news and reports through the SWVA Facebook Group. All new members will be placed on a probationary period. If new members remain active, new members will obtain voting rights and the right to run for a position in the group. Before any applications are approved or denied, interested persons must participate in a phone interview for us to get to know the interested person. Once we know who the person is, we will make a decision to approve or deny an active membership.
Please make sure that you read and agree with the Ethical Code of Conduct prior to completing an application. Please understand, for the safety of all members, SWVA DOES perform a background check on all new members. In addition, please understand that to be an official member of SWVA, you are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). This is required in order to protect witnesses, private landowners and proprietary research tools and techniques.
